NOTICE OF MCDC AGM NOVEMBER 2026

Please find below the agenda for the MCDC AGM including the nominations for directors up for election at the AGM. All nominations have kindly provided a short statement about what they feel they can bring to the board which is available to read here. If you are not able to attend the AGM, proxy forms are available here. Please fill them in and return to the MCDC office no later than 7pm on the 17th November 2026. Please note that we will not be able to accept any forms received after that time.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
 
Morvern Community Development Company Ltd, Thursday 19th November 2026, 7pm

1. Apologies and Proxies
Minutes of the last AGM (7th October 2025) – minutes can be found under this link

• Resolution 1: To approve the minutes of the last AGM dated 07/10/25

2. Chairman’s Report (verbal)

3. Auditor and Treasurer Report and presentation of Trustee’s Report and Account

• Resolution 2: To receive & approve the audited accounts and Trustee’s Report for year to 31/03/2026

4. Appointment of Auditors

• Resolution 3: To appoint EQ Chartered Accountants as our auditors for the year ending 31/03/2027

5. Retirement/Election of Directors
As per constitution one third of current Directors have to stand down (Susan Taylor and Keith Laidlaw) and Sam Firth needs to be stand for election as she was co-opted during the year.  
Therefore up to 5 positions have to be filled. Three nominations for Directors have been received, proposed and seconded:

• Sam Firth
• Keith Laidlaw
• Mark MacDonald

All nominations have supplied a short statement about what they feel they can bring to the board. This is available to read below. 

6. A.O.B.
Immediately following the AGM there will be an ordinary meeting of the Companies Directors at which the new board will elect office bearers of MCDC and may appoint directors of its two subsidiaries, MCTC and MorVolts. MCC representatives on the MCDC board will also be confirmed at this meeting.
