MCDC is Looking to Appoint New Directors at Nov 2026 AGM

CALL TO BECOME A MCDC DIRECTOR

We are looking to appoint new MCDC directors at the upcoming AGM on 19th November 2026.

MCDC has the potential to make a difference to many aspects of life for everyone in Morvern and so we are keen to have a diverse range of voices from the community. We have grown considerably over the last few years with MorVolts, the Hub and Miner’s Court. Our next major project, the construction of 14 affordable homes in Lochaline is currently on site and the houses will be available for rent in summer 2027. We have many more exciting projects in the pipeline and joining the board at this moment gives the opportunity to be involved in guiding the next phase of our ambitious project plan.

The board meets approximately 6 times a year and we hereby invite ordinary members to consider joining the board and being part of steering MCDC for the community.

Any person wishing to be considered as a director must:

• Be an ordinary member (or eligible to become one) – speak to Suzanne if you are in doubt about your membership
• Provide the names of two other ordinary members of the company who have agreed to support your application
• Submit a statement for up to 100 words, introducing yourself to the membership and stating where you can be an asset to the MCDC Board.

Your statement will be made available to the membership if an election of directors is required at the AGM.

The application, with the above, should be submitted, in writing, to the Company Secretary, Suzanne Pender, at MCDC’s Hub office or emailed to [email protected] by 20 October 2026 at the latest.
